CANNEX appointments Andrew Spicer as new CEO


The announcement of Andrew Spicer as the new Chief Executive Officer of financial research and ratings company CANNEX heralds a new era of growth within the company.

According to CANNEX, the company is poised to expand its comparative research offerings to further benefit financial institutions and consumers alike. CANNEX is looking forward to incorporating many more financial products into its flagship CANNEX star ratings which are also set to include insurance products.

Spicer was recently CEO of WebCentral Group Limited, Australia’s large web hosting company and a BRW fast 100 company. Prior to this he was a senior executive at Suncorp Metway and played a key role in the initial Suncorp Metway merger.

Solid management consultancy experience with McKinsey & Co and Ernst & Young has given Spicer broad financial skills and a track record important to implementing CANNEX’s new business models.

Spicer is looking forward to the challenges of implementing new products and services for CANNEX clients and consumers. He will commence work in the Brisbane office of CANNEX.
